Somerset County Republican State Committeeman Christopher Corsini endorsed Jack Ciattarelli for governor Wednesday.

“Like so many in Somerset County, I am proud to have been with Jack from the start,” Corsini said in a release. “Since my time working with Jack on his 2006 Freeholder campaign, I’ve seen him do the hard work and win tough races. We’ve watched him deliver on his promises, fighting for the taxpayers & local businesses on Main Street, and the time has come for him to bring that fight to Trenton.”

In other endorsement news, the Laborers’ International Union of North America endorsed the Labrosse Team in Hackensack. Mayor John Labrosse is seeking re-election, and his council slate includes Deputy Mayor Kathy Canestrino, Lance Powell, Marlene Somerville, and Richard Garcia.

“Hackensack is moving in the right direction because of strong leadership that respects workers, invests in infrastructure, and supports smart growth,” said Mike Hellstrom, LiUNA Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager. “Mayor Labrosse and his team have created opportunities for working families and they are making Hackensack a city where union labor will help drive real progress, and LIUNA is proud to stand with them.”
