Congressman’s father dies

Dwight David MacArthur, the father of Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-Toms River), has passed away.

“My Dad passed away yesterday. He was a good man, full of optimism, and a strong sense of duty,” MacArthur.  “I’ll always be grateful for how he kept our family together when my Mom died and he was left with three kids, including his four-year-old boy – me. I love him and will always be proud to be his son.”
