Senator Vin Gopal has been appointed to serve as Senate Majority Conference Leader and Chairman of the Legislative Manufacturing Caucus

 

TRENTON – Senator Vin Gopal was appointed to serve as Senate Majority Conference Leader and as Chairman of the bipartisan Legislative Manufacturing Caucus by Senate President Steve Sweeney Wednesday, April 4.

 

“I am grateful to Senate President Steve Sweeney for entrusting me to serve in these positions,” said Senator Gopal.

 

“I am very excited to take on these new roles within the Senate and the responsibilities that accompany them. I look forward to working with my talented colleagues to serve the people of New Jersey and improve this great state.

 

“Congratulations to my fellow appointees Senator Patrick Diegnan and Senator Troy Singleton. These men are extremely talented and capable legislators. Their appointments are very well earned.”

 

In addition to his new roles as Senate Majority Conference Leader and as Chairman of the Legislative Manufacturing Caucus, Senator Gopal serves as the Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee and serves on the Economic Growth and Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens committees.
