Delaware Township Democratic Municipal Chairman Cullen McAuliffe will vote for Michael Bloomberg at the Hunterdon County Democratic convention on Sunday.

Hunterdon will be the first county organization in the state to award an organization line in the Democratic presidential race.

“I’m planning on voting for Bloomberg,” said McAuliffe, a former freeholder candidate and Trenton lobbyist.  “I think Bloomberg can speak the truth.”

McAuliffe says he won’t push the other six members of his local county committee to follow him.

“Everyone is free to make their own decisions,” McAuliffe said.  “It’s Hunterdon.”

Lambertville school board member Meagan Warner, a county committeewoman and president of the College Democrats of New Jersey, will nominate Bloomberg at the local convention.
