Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and New Jersey area director of the Communications Workers of America (CWA).

Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo and labor leader Hetty Rosenstein joined host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, March 13.

Wildstein spoke with to DiVincenzo about Essex County’s rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine and the effect of hands-on leadership by top government officials.

Rosenstein, one of the most powerful people in New Jersey politics, talked about her career as New Jersey Area Director of the Communications Workers of America, Gov. Phil Murphy’s re-election campaign, and the Democratic State Senate primary in the 37th district.

DiVincenzo  was elected to the Essex County Board of Freeholders in 1990 and as Essex County Executive in 2002.  He’s now in his fifth term.

Rosenstein announced last month that she will retire from the CWA after more than 40 years with the union – the last fourteen in the top post.  She’s pledged to continue her lifelong fight for workers rights and social and economic justice.

Wildstein is the editor of the New Jersey Globe.
