Kevin McCarthy, the minority leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, congressional candidate Thomas Kean, Jr., and Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff) joined host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, July 17.

McCarthy endorsed Kean this week for the Republican nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s 7th district.  Kean is seeking a rematch with Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-Ringoes), who beat him in 2020 by 1% of the vote.

Kean is the minority leader of the New Jersey State Senate.

Gottheimer is the co-chairman of the House Problem Solvers Caucus.  He ousted a seven-term Republican congressman in 2016 and has been re-elected twice.

McCarthy will likely become the Speaker of the House if Republicans take control in the 2022 mid-term elections.  He’s an eight-term congressman from Bakersfield, California.

Wildstein is the host of the New Jersey Globe.

The New Jersey Globe Power Hour is available on the New Jersey Globe and WABC radio websites, and on Apple PodcastsGoogle Podcasts and Spotify.
