The Monmouth University Polling Institute has received an A+ rating from FiveThirtyEight for the third consecutive year.
Since founding the institute in 2005 Patrick Murray, has emerged as one of the top independent pollsters in the nation.
According to FiveThirtyEight, which rates polling operations based on historical accuracy and methodology, the Monmouth Poll is one of just six out of 430 nationally to receive an A+.
It also received the best predictive score among pollsters, defined by FiveThirtyEight as a ““projection of how accurate the pollster will be in future elections.”
“We pride ourselves on tapping the mood of the public not only on elections, but also a wide variety of issues,” said Murray. “We again are honored to be seen as one of the nation’s leading polling organizations by FiveThirtyEight, and we remain committed to fostering greater public accountability by ensuring that the public’s voice is heard.”
The Fairleigh Dickinson University and Stockton University polls received an A/B, and the Rutgers University-Eagleton poll received a B/C/.
