NJ Sanders campaign launching Saturday

Bernie Sanders’ New Jersey campaign will hold a volunteer kickoff rally tomorrow afternoon in Asbury Park.

Winnie Wong, a national senior political advisor to the Sanders campaign, is scheduled to speak at the event.

“It will be our official volunteer kick-off meant to mobilize hundreds of grassroots supporters all across the state,” said Angelo Greco, a Sanders campaign spokesman.

The rally will begin at 1 PM at The Saint in Asbury Park.

Hillary Clinton won the New Jersey primary by a 63.3%-36.7% margin over Sanders in 2016.
