Rob Zwigard, one of two candidates running for Morris County Republican Chairman in the June 12 election, has announced his slate of candidates.
Barbara Dawson, a longtime fixture in Morris County Republican politics and a former executive director of the county GOP organization, will run for vice chair. Assemblyman Anthony Bucco (R-Boonton) will seek re-election as counsel on Zwigard’s ticket.
The rest of Zwigard’s slate includes Karen Swartz for recording secretary, Brielle Cook for corresponding secretary, Joseph Nicastro for treasurer, and George Dredden for sergeant-at-arms.
Zwigard will face Morris County GOP finance chairman Ron DeFilippis for the seat of Patti Page, who is not seeking re-electioon.
