Voter turnout in Keansburg: 4%

Two candidates run unopposed

Keansburg has a population of 10,105 people and 5,197 registered voters – but just voter turnout was about 4% on Tuesday in a race where two Borough Council candidates were running unopposed.

Councilman Jimmy Cocuzza received 207 votes and Judy Ferraro, a 71-year-old former school board member, received 194 votes.

Ferraro replaces Arthur Boden, who has served on the council since 2013 and did not seek re-election.
