Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald (D-Voorhees), the Dean of the State Assembly, won renomination in the 6th district with 15,564 votes, followed by Assemblywoman Melinda Kane (D-Cherry Hill) with 14,152.  Rebecca Holloway, who ran on a slate headed by Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Fulop, trails Kane by 2,257 votes.  Her running mate, Kevin Ryan, was far behind.

Two freshmen assemblymen in the 4th district, Dan Hutchison (D-Gloucester Township) and Cody Miller (D-Monroe) have fended off a primary challenge from Fulop allies Vonetta Hawkins and Brian Everett.  Hawkins was about 3,500 votes behind, and Everett trails by roughly 6,000 votes.

In the 4th district Republican primary, Amanda Esposito (9,006) and Jerry McManus (8,196) defeated Barbara McCormick (6,591).

Candidates backed by the Camden County Democratic Committee lost 74 county committee seats in Cherry Hill to a South Jersey Progressive slate.
