Sussex County Sheriff Michael Strada and his challenger, Andrew Boden, raised roughly the same amount of money over the last few weeks, according to 11-day pre-primary reports filed with the Election Law Enforcement Commission.
Strada raised $7,100 while Boden raised $6,606 in the last few weeks.
Over the cycle, Boden has brought in $13,941.00. Strada raised $127,087.66.
Despite the roughly-equal fundraising, Strada’s war chest was more than five times larger than Boden’s.
Strada had $51,967.07 on hand, while Boden had just $8,951.43
These numbers reflect where the primary campaign spending was last week and do not include expenditures or fundraising after Memorial Day weekend.
