Hossam Elsamra joins Fairview BOE after uncontested race

Hossam Elsamra won a post on the Fairview Board of Elections without contest as two incumbents secured re-election Tuesday.

BOE Vice President Maria Travers finished first with 344 votes, while trustee Kenneth Schmitt received 330.

Elsamra ran last with 302 ballots cast in his name.
