Over 200 Union County Democrats attended Union County Democratic Chairman Nicholas Scutari’s second annual Union County Democrats Nights at the Ballpark.

Scutari, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, offers tickets to the Somerset Patriots baseball game free to members of the Democratic County Committee.

Somerset County Democratic Chair Peg Schaffer was also in attendance.  Shaffer is the Vice Chair of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee.

The last-place Patriots lost the game 13-1 to the York Revolution.

Last month, Scutari hosted his 8th Annual Night at the Ballpark this evening at Citi Field, a $1,500-per-person fundraiser attended by Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin and retired New York Mets outfielder Mookie Wilson.
