AFSCME NJ, one of the largest public employee unions in the state, is supporting Assemblyman Reed Gusciora for mayor of Trenton.
“We are very happy to endorse Reed Gusciora in this race,” said AFSCME New Jersey Executive Director, Steve Tully. “During 22 years in the New Jersey General Assembly, Reed fought for working families across New Jersey. As a member of the labor committee, Gusciora has a proven record of success in fighting for public employees. He will stand with Trentonians to fight for their wages, stand up to privatization and protect their right to collectively bargain.”
Gusciora faces Paul Perez in the runoff election on June 12.
