Spevak joins Trenton firm

Veteran strategist and state government official is new AMG partner

Marshall Spevak has joined The Advocacy & Management Group as a partner, the firm announced today.

“Marshall brings a wealth of experience and a knack for knowing how to navigate state government. That’s one of the many reasons why I’m pleased to welcome him to the firm as a partner,” said AMG president AJ Sabath.  “His political background, statewide network and relationships, and reputation for integrity have made him a sought-after advisor. Marshall isn’t an up and comer anymore; he’s already proven he knows how to get the job done.”

A former deputy executive director and chief of staff at the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, Spevak was chief of staff to Assemblymen Vince Mazzeo (D-Northfield) and John Armato (D-Buena) and worked on campaigns for Rep. John Adler (D-Cherry Hill) and State Sen. James Whelan (D-Atlantic City).

Is the chairman of the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial, the Cherry Hill Democratic municipal vice chairman, and a member of the Cherry Hill Zoning Board.

Prior to joining AMG, Spevak was a vice president of MikeWorldWide, formerly known as MWWPR).

AMG is headed by Sabath, a former New Jersey Commissioner of Labor, and Lynn Haines, a former senior staff member in the office of Gov. Phil Murphy.
