Alexis Bailey, the former vice president for government affairs at the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), has joined Public Strategies Impact as a lobbyist.
“I am delighted that Alexis Bailey has joined our PSI team,” said Roger Bodman, Public Strategies Impact’s managing partner. “Alexis’ knowledge and experience as a lobbyist for the state’s business community will be invaluable to serving our current and future clients.”
At NJBIA, Bailey focused on labor and employment, workforce development, and insurance issues. Prior experience includes working as a legislative research associate for the Kaufman Zita Group and as a government and communications consultant for the New Jersey Public Charter Schools Association.
The Bayonne native serves on the Toms River Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Girl Scouts of New Jersey Shore’s Board of Directors. Bailey was an intern at the Republican National Committee and for Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-New York) in 2019.
“PSI is excited to welcome Alexis to our firm. Her reputation as a hard worker, thoughtful policy analyst, and fierce advocate make her an asset to our robust lobbying team,” said Bodman.
Public Strategies Impact is a legislative advocacy firm that offers assistance with government relations, public affairs, or association management.
