The Democratic incumbents have a healthy advantage over their GOP opponents in the race for State Assembly in the 11th district.
Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling (D-Neptune) has raised $129,827, spent $80,843 and has $48,984 in the bank, according to 11-day pre-primary reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Assemblywoman Joann Downey (D-Freehold) reported raising $97,776. She has spent $55,165 and has $42,610 in her campaign account.
Republican Matt Woolley has raised $14,279, with $1,547 in expenditures and $12,732 banked. His running mate, Freehold Township school board member Mike Amoroso, field with $8,700 raises, $2,565 spent, and $6,134 banked.
Houghtaling and Downey upset two Republican incumbents in 2015 and easily held their seats in 2017.
