Cumberland County Republican Chairman Michael Testa has a sizable cash advantage over State Sen. Bob Andrzecjzak, according to 11-day pre-primary reports filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission.
The Republican candidate reported raising just $12,180.53 in the last few weeks, bringing his total raised to $145,733.36. He had $63,170.19 in his war chest at the end of the reporting period.
Andrzejczak is fundraising jointly with his Assembly running mates, Assemblyman Bruce Land and former Assemblyman Matt Milam.
The joint committee reported raising $27,850 over the last few weeks, bringing its total raised to $51,480, and ended the period with $17,787.01 in its reserves.
These numbers reflect where the primary campaign spending was last week and does not include expenditures or fundraising after Memorial Day weekend.
Testa’s Assembly running mates, Erik Simonsen and Antwan McClellan, are fundraising jointly but submitted a form to ELEC saying they did not intend to spend more than $9,700 in the race.
