Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin will co-chair the bicameral select committee investigation into Gov. Phil Murphy’s administration of Albert Alvarez, a source close to Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin told the New Jersey Globe Friday.
Marin’s counterpart on the Senate side of the panel is Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg.
Coughlin has yet to formally announce Pintor Marin’s role on the committee, nor has he announced the committee’s remaining members.
Pintor Marin, a Newark Democrat, chairs the Assembly budget committee.
