Democrats in the first legislative district have a large cash advantage heading into the final weeks of their re-election campaigns.
State Sen. Bob Andrzejczak and Assemblymen Matt Milam and Bruce Land have $218,745.72 banked in a joint fundraising account.
They’ve brought in $449,004.75 this cycle, with another $120,900.72 transferred from their primary account.
The Democrats also brought in smaller amounts individually, though almost all of those funds were transferred to the joint account.
Cumberland County Republican Chairman Michael Testa, who is seeking Andrzejczak’s Senate seat, reported having $70,881.03 banked after raising $303,568.73.
His running mates, Ocean City Councilman Antwan McClellan and Lower Township Mayor Erik Simonsen, had $23,106.99 on hand in a joint fundraising account. They’ve raised $40,857.57 this cycle.
