Cresskill goes unanimously for Johnson

The entire Democratic county committee members in Cresskill are backing Gordon Johnson for State Senate in the 37th district, according to the municipal chair, Councilwoman Kathy Savas.

Savas told the New Jersey Globe that she has polled her full municipal committee and that Cresskill is unanimous in its support of Johnson.

Johnson and Valerie Vainieri Huttle, both State Assembly members, are competing for the Senate seat of Loretta Weinberg.

Weinberg announced last week that she would not seek re-election to a sixth term in the Senate.
