Four Northvale councilmen – John M. Hogan, Lou DeLiso, Ed Devlin and Tom Argiro — today endorsed Gordon Johnson for State Senate in the 37th district.
Johnson, the Assembly President Pro-Tempore, is seeking the open seat of Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg. Weinberg announced her retirement last week.
Hogan, the son of Bergen County Clerk John Hogan, is the president of the Northvale Democratic Club.
Johnson, an assemblyman since 2002, faces Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle in a contest for Weinberg’s seat.
