In the final hours of 2019, State Sen. Kristin Corrado (R- Totowa) bashed Gov. Phil Murphy, telling him that “the most unsafe place in New Jersey for a women to work is in your administration or campaign.”
“While I agree that efforts should be made to address how women are treated around the events hosted by the Chamber and League, it is not the staff of the League nor Chamber that treat women poorly; which can not be said about the team around you,” Corrado said.
Corrado said that Murphy has “not made any changes since the LSOC report, you continue to silence women at all levels with your insistence on holding them to NDA’s.”
“Until you release everyone associated with your campaign from their NDA’s, please leave making New Jersey politics safe for women to those of us who will actually back their words up with action,” Corrado told the governor.
