Republicans Anthony M. Bucco and Aura Dunn continued to build their leads on Tuesday in special legislative elections in the 25th district.
Bucco is now 4,240 votes ahead of Democrat Rupande Mehta for the unexpired term of his late father, State Sen. Anthony R. Bucco.
Dunn, who had been trailing Democrat Darcy Draeger until earlier today, now has a 1,468-vote lead.
In the Senate contest, Bucco is ahead, 48,207 to 43,967, 52.3%-47.7.
In the contest for the Assembly seat Bucco gave up last October to replace his father in the Senate, Dunn is in front of Draeger, 46,343 to 44,875, 50.8% to 49.2%.
