Activists to hold presser outside of Chamber train

A coalition of grassroots activist groups will hold a press conference at Newark Penn Station tomorrow as the state’s insiders board a chartered train for the state Chamber of Commerce’s annual Walk to Washington.

Among the groups attending are: New Jersey Working Families Alliance, Action Together New Jersey, Indivisible NJ 5th District, JOLT Ridgewood, New Jersey Resistance, NJ7 Forward, NJ11th For Change, SOMA Action, South Jersey Women for Progressive Change and Westfield 20/20.

The groups say they will speak out against corruption and the influence of money on the state’s politics.
