Mendez lose another bid to be sworn in

Judge Ernest Caposela this morning rebuffed a new bid by Alex Mendez, the Paterson-councilman elect charged by prosecutors of stealing his own election, to be sworn in today.

Caposela told Mendez’s attorney, Greg Paster, that he needs to try his luck with the appellate court.
