Veteran NJ radio host dies

Bob Levy, prominent for half a century in Ocean County as a radio broadcaster with WOBM, passed away on March 1 after complications from a fall.  He was 86.

Joseph Ruggiero, a former member of the 5th Ward Democratic Club of Montclair, died on March 1 at age 98.  He served as a member of the Montclair Shade Tree Commission and was a World War II Army veteran.

Joseph Baicker, who served as deputy mayor of Montgomery Township, passed away on February 21 at age 90.  He also served on the Township Committee.

Janette Amoroso, a former member of the West Orange Republican County Committee, died on March 3.  She was 88.

Bill Henderson, who served as a councilman in Hillsdale from 1968 to 1972 and a Korean War veteran, passed away on February 25.  He was 77.
