Jeff Zeigelheim, former prosecutor, dies at 57

Former Bergen County Counsel Jeff Zeigelheim had died.  He was 57.

Zeigelheim began his public sector career as an Assistant Hudson County Prosecutor, where he headed the Narcotics Task Force and was counsel the Homicide Squad.

He later joined the Bergen County Prosecutor’s office as the chief of the Confidential Investigations Unit and later as Deputy Executive Prosecutor.

Zeigelheim served as county counsel while Kathleen Donovan was serving as county executive.
