House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. and Boston Globe political reporter James Pindell will join host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, April 24 at 4 PM.
Pallone chairs one of the most powerful committees on Capitol Hill and is serving his 18th term in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing parts of Monmouth and Middlesex counties. He’s a former state senator and Long Branch councilman.
Wildstein will speak with Pallone about the Elijah E. Cummings Lower Drug Costs Now Act he introduced in Congress this week. The proposal that would allow the government to negotiate the cost of prescription drugs.
A political reporter for the Boston Globe, Pindell is widely viewed as the nation’s leading expert on New Hampshire presidential primaries. He spent four years as the editor of PoliticsNH.com and is a former political director for WMUR-TV in New Hampshire.
Pindell and Wildstein will talk about the early stages of the 2024 presidential election, including former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s statement that he is seriously considering a second presidential bid.
