Greta Calabrese, a former local government reporter for The North Jersey Suburbanite and a high school classmate of Hillary Rodham Clinton growing up in the Chicago suburbs, died on September 8.  She was 75.  “Greta hated Donald J. Trump.  She wanted everyone to know that.  And now you do,” her family said in an obituary.

Kathy Caputo, the mother-in-law of Save Jersey founder Matt Rooney, died on September 19 after a battle with cancer.  She was 63.

Doreen Jenkins Nuttall, a Northfield resident who was a news anchor and reporter for NBC 40 from 1997 to 2002, died on September 3 after battling a rare and aggressive form of Sarcoma Cancer for the last few months.  She was 47.

Rosalie Baker, who served on the Buena Borough Council for 28 years, died on September 15.  She was 73.

Ted Farra, a former Elizabeth city councilman, died on September 16.  He was 94.  Farra was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired school administrator.

Michael Fornino, who served on the Neptune Board of Education, Planning Board and Zoning Board, died on September 17.  He was 87.

William Boffa, Jr., who became a municipal court judge in Roselle Park in 1971 and later in other Union County municipalities,  died on September 11.  He was 91.

Alma Dobson, a former Atlantic City school board member and a retired assistant pastor of the Asbury Methodist Church, died on September 8.  She was 84.

Edward Taylor, a former Middle Township Republican municipal chairman, died on September 19.  He was 79.  Taylor served on the Cape May County Board of Elections and as chairman of the Ocean City Planning Board.

Grace Bresley, who worked at Hamilton Township Hall for Mayor Jack Rafferty died on September 12.  She was 88.

Marc Nagtegaall, a former planning and zoning board chairman in South Harrison, died on September 20.  He was 75.

Andy Hissim, a former Washington Township (Warren) police officer who was a detective for the Somerset and Warren prosecutor’s office, died on September 8 after a battle with ALS.  He was 63.

Joan Klepacki, a former Kearny Planning Board secretary and longtime Hudson County poll worker, died on September 10.  She was 82.

Barbara Knierim, a former Republican county committeewoman in Mountainside for 35 years, died on September 14.  She was 87.

Mona Waters, a former Bellmawr municipal court clerk and Democratic Club member, died on September 15.  She was 85.

Beverly Schramm, a former Hanover Republican Club president, died on September 16.  She was 93.

Bruce Darvas, a Republican county committeeman in Hamilton Township (Mercer), died on September 19.  He was 73.

Carol Scuerman, who served on the Tuckerton Planning Board, died on September 10.  She was 74.

George Durik, a former Chester Township Planning Board member, died on September 15.  He was 83.

John Yingling, who spent 18 years as the CFO of the Geraldine Dodge Foundation, died on September 17.  He was 88.  A U.S. Army veteran and former director of external affairs at AT&T, Yingling served on the board of the Land Conservancy of New Jersey and the Lake Hopatcong Foundation.
