John O’Connor, who served for twelve years on the Vernon Board of Education, died on March 12. He was 91. O’Connor was an auditor for the New York Shipping Association-International Longshoremen’s Association.
Robert Gifford, a former Wall fire commissioner, died on March 15. He was 77. Gifford was a U.S. Navy veteran.
