David McGrail, a retired Trenton State College professor who marched with Martin Luther King, died on January 3. He was 82. McGrail’s obituary pays tribute to his “long suffering and tolerant” late wife, and his “friendly acceptance of Republicans.”
Marcia Fox, who served as an aide to Assemblymen Howard Kupperman (D-Longport) and Bill Gormley (R-Margate) from 1975 to 1981, died on March 7. She was 86. Fox worked as a legal secretary in Kupperman’s law firm until her retirement in 1990.
Melvin Black, a former Southampton school board member, died on March 11. He was 99. Black was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the South Pacific during World War II. He served on the Southampton Planning Board.
