Mary Bencivengo, who spent over 30 years working for the New Jersey League of Municipalities, died on November 2. She was 90.
Lenny DiDonato, who was named by Gov. Brendan Byrne to build the Richard J. Hughes Justice Complex in Trenton, died on November 10. He was 89. A Korean War veteran, DiDonato served as Director of the state Division of Building and Construction. He later served as executive vice president of Hill International.
Frank Nadeo, a former Woodbury Council President, died on November 11. He was 80. Nadeo served 23 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer on destroyers and submarines. He worked for the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department from 1990 to 2013.
George Georgeou, a former Little Ferry Councilman, died on November 11. He was 85.
Joseph Maccherone, a former South Harrison Township Committeeman, died on November 10. He was 92. Maccherone served in the U.S. Army Reserve during the Korean War.
Paul Murphy, a former general counsel for Jersey City Medical Center, died on November 7. He was 71. A Vietnam war veteran, he was a former Morris County Bar Association president and an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School.
Joseph Riggs, a former member of the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners, died on November 7. He was 85.
