Robert Grubaugh, who won public office in two different New Jersey municipalities, died on October 16. He was 85. Gurbaugh was elected to the Cherry Hill Board of Education, and after moving to Sea Girt, served as a school board member and councilman.
George Sweeney, a former Mayor of Lafayette, died on October 16. He was 87. A U.S. Army veteran, Sweeney served three terms as mayor and also as a Lafayette councilman.
Kathleen Bogajevski, a member of the New Jersey Nursing Home Administrator Licensing Board, died on October 18. She was 78. A registered nurse, Bogajevski was appointed to the state board by Gov. James E. McGreevey and served until the time of her death.
Floyd “Bro” Adams, who served fourteen years on the Elmer Board of Education, died on October 15. He was 82,
Andrew Ledonne, a Piscataway Fire Commissioner from the 1970’s until his retirement in 1990, died on October 15. He was 93. Ledonne served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Evelyn Schweitzer, who was active in the Raritan Democratic Party, died on October 17. She was 99.
Edward McKenna, a retired investigator in the Camden County Prosecutor’s office, died on October 18. He was 83. McKenna was a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran.
