In Memoriam

Walter “Paul” Kirchling, a former president of the Mercer County Education Association, died on September 20.  He was 70.

George Sevastakis, a former Brielle Councilman, died on August 26.  He was 89. Sevastakis was elected in 1974 and was re-elected in 1977.  He was serving as a member of the Republican County Committee in Brielle at the time of his death,

Mary Delia Lynch, a member of the West Long Branch Democratic Club, died on September 18.  She was 78.
