In Memoriam

Fred Underwood, a former Brick Councilman, died on August 21.  He was 79.  Underwood spent 27 years as a teacher and vice principal in Brick.  He began his political career as a member of the Brick Zoning Board in 1978.

Ronald Benedetto, who spent 30 years as a business agent for the Laborers International Union Local 472-172, died on August 19.  He was 70.

Joseph Hanselmann, a former president of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 43, died on August 11.  He was 79.
