Herbert Hobler, who owned the WPST radio station after purchasing it from the Trenton Times in 1964, died on August 10. He was 96. A World War II aviator who flew missions over Japan, Hobler later worked for NBC and CBS before joining a start-up company called Teleprompter. He founded six cable television companies.
Helen Woolcock, a former member of the Franklinville Republican Club, died on August 8. She was 96.
Ann McKee, a former president of the Bridgewater League of Women Voters, died on July 30. She was 81.
