Donald Ruschman, who served as mayor of Park Ridge for eleven years, died on May 16. He was 86. Ruschman also spent eight years as a borough councilman and nine years in the Board of Education. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Richard Lutz, a former Ridgefield Park Board of Education member, passed away on May 12. He was 93. Lutz was a World War II veteran.
Jack Hathaway, a former chairman of the Woodstown Historic Preservation Committee, died on May 14. He was 83.
Anne Straub, who was active with the Ringwood Democratic party, died on May 17. She was 86.
