Former mayor dies

Former Holmdel Mayor Peggy Lasky passed away on May 5.  She was 75.  Lasky was elected to the Holmdel Township Committee in 1985 and later served as mayor.  She served on the Monmouth County Planning Board and the Monmouth County Improvement Authority.  Gov. Christine Todd Whitman had appointed her to the Women’s Business Advisory Committee.
