Codey Tribute: Leonard Lance

Former Rep. Leonard Lace released the following statement on the death of former Governor Richard J. Codey:

“Dick Codey was exactly the right person to succeed to the Governorship in 2004.  He restored integrity to the Office and served the State he loved with great distinction as Chief Executive.  His 50-year tenure in the Legislature is unlikely ever to be equalled or surpassed.  He will be remembered in history as one of New Jersey’s towering public servants. “
