New Directions New Jersey, the non-profit 501(c)(4) allied with Gov. Phil Murphy, has released the script for a new television ad the group will begin airing.

Brendan Gill, who runs group, issued a statement saying that the ad only highlights Murphy’s agenda and accomplishments, and does not attack any legislators.

“As we’ve said from the beginning, New Direction was established to support policies that promote a stronger and fairer New Jersey. And as one can see by reading this script, that is exactly what we are doing. In fact, this ad highlights policies that are the joint accomplishments of the administration and the legislature. We fail to see how anyone who supports or took part in these accomplishments would find fault with this message.”
