Gov. Phil Murphy will head to San Francisco today for the Democratic Governors Association meeting, where he will assume the chairmanship of the national organization.

Murphy, who missed the first two days of the meeting to manage New Jersey’s response to a snowstorm, will now go to the west coast for a one-day trip.  He will return to New Jersey on Wednesday.

First Lady Tammy Murphy has been in California to represent the governor.
