Marlboro Republican Municipal Chairman Renzo Kolenovic has endorsed Bill Spadea for the Republican nomination for governor, giving the NJ 101.5 radio host support from the GOP leader in the third-largest municipality in Monmouth County.

“Bill is exactly what we need in our next Governor. He’s unafraid of the bosses and bullies and will put the people of New Jersey first – always,” said Kolenovic. “Spadea has been a supporter of President Trump from the beginning, and that matters to me and all of the Republicans that I speak with.”

In the 2021 Republican gubernatorial primary, Jack Ciattarelli carried Marlboro by a 41%-33% margin in a four-candidate race.  His 712 votes comprised 4.7% of the total votes he received countywide.

Monmouth County GOP Chairman Shaun Golden is expected to endorse Ciattarelli.

“Renzo has been a leader in Monmouth County who has proudly stood up to the establishment,” Spadea said.  “He has spoken out against the backroom deals, and I’m honored to have his support. Change is coming to New Jersey, and with Renzo’s help, it will start in Monmouth County.”
