Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, has withdrawn from a fundraiser for a super PAC supporting New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Bill Spadea because it violated a Fox News policy that prohibits appearances at political events, Mediaite is reporting.
The New Jersey Globe reported today that Trump, a former Republican National Committee co-chair who is now a Fox News host, was the headliner at a high-dollar event sponsored by Legacy of Liberty, which is backing Spadea in the GOP primary.
Ticket prices range from $1,000 to $250,000-per-person for the Thursday, April 24 event.
There is speculation that Trump might take sides in the June 10 Republican gubernatorial primary in New Jersey.
