Ousted Murphy administration official Jeffrey Dye has accused Assemblyman Gary Schaer and Passaic Mayor Hector Lora of hiring a “Jewish media hit team” and says that the two Democratic officials tried to lynch and hag him.
“They start with the Jewish media hack job on you to turn people against you for the purpose of minimizing your power with your people first,” Dye wrote in a Facebook post on Friday. “Then they will use your own Black people to turn against you.”
Fired from his post at the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development on Tuesday after the New Jersey Globe exposed a series of anti-Semitic and anti-Latino statements posted on social media, Dye is now accusing his Passaic political rivals of implementing the “Willie Lynch effect to start ignorant blacks to fight amongst themselves.”
Dye posted identical language on the Passaic NAACP Facebook page. He remains president of that organization, although state NAACP New Jersey State Conference President Richard T. Smith distanced himself from Dye on Monday.
