Darrell Isherwood is joining the New Jersey Economic Development Authority as a senior advisor for economic development communications, but he will be on mobility in the governor’s office reporting to communications director Mahen Gunaratna.
He will have an economic policy portfolio in the governor’s office. His $140,000 salary will be covered by the EDA.
Isherwood is giving up his job at Mercury Public Affairs to join the Murphy administration. He is a former reporter who has worked for the Star-Ledger, the Trenton Times and PolitickerNJ.
