Helmy Departure: Dick Codey

State Sen. and former Gov. Richard Codey issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff:

“I want to share my appreciation and extend best wishes to George Helmy, who is stepping down as Gov. Murphy’s Chief of Staff. George and I spoke regularly and he did a great job for the governor and the people of New Jersey. He will be missed in this role. Good luck, George!”
