Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy will spend Election Day making a combined fourteen tops on behalf of U.S. Senator Bob Menendez and Democratic candidates.
After voting in Red Bank tomorrow morning, the Murphy’s will head to Brick to launch a canvass for Democrats in Ocean County.
The governor will visit three senior centers in Newark with mayor Ras Baraka in the morning, followed by a stop in Paramus with State Sen. Joseph Lagana, Bergen County Executive James Tedesco, and mayor Richard LaBarbiera. Then it’s off to Englewood for a downtown visit with mayoral candidate Michael Wildes.
From Bergen, Murphy heads to Hudson County to visit polling locations in North Bergen with mayor/state senator Nicholas Sacco, and for a GOTV event in Union City with mayor/state senator Brian Stack.
At 6:30, the governor and first lady will greet commuters at a Jersey City PATH station with Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise, Hudson County Democratic chair Amy DeGise, and Jersey City councilman James Solomon.
After the Ocean County event, Tammy Murphy is headed to Neptune for Democratic congressional candidate Josh Welle’s canvass launch, followed by similar events in Berkeley Heights and Paterson.
The Murphy’s will spend election night at the W Hotel in Hoboken with Menendez.
