Bergen County Sheriff-elect Anthony Cureton will take the oath of office next Tuesday after winning a November 6 special election to replace Michael Saudino.

Cureton, a former Bergen County NAACP president, defeated Hasbrouck Heights mayor Jack DiLorenzo and three independent candidates last week.

Saudino resigned in September after a tape of him making racist and homophobic comments went public.

Cureton won by 51,100 votes.

blog. It appears as though some of the written text in your content are
running off the screen. Can somebody else please comment and let me
know if this is happening to them too? This could be a problem with my web browser because I’ve had this happen previously.
